Masks Can’t Hide National School Breakfast Week Smiles!
Each year, National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) offers an opportunity to highlight the importance of student access to healthy breakfast options in schools. This year’s theme, “Score Big with School Breakfast,” helps relay how balanced school breakfast supports students to be healthy, active and energized throughout the day.

With students learning in-person or remotely, schools across the country incorporated the Score Big with School Breakfast theme in cafeteria decorations, hosted events and contests, and featured many new menu options. Fulton County School District (GA) ran with the sports-centered theme. Each day through the week had its own breakfast celebration, including Spirit Day, Try It Tuesday and Celebrity Server and Breakfast for Lunch days. Chattahoochee High School staff decorated meal lines and dressed in district football uniforms to get in the spirit and were helped handing out breakfast in the hallway from the school mascot.
